Yoga is my life and it's my passion to teach it! I was introduced to yoga as a teenager, by my Dad who was trained by B.K.S. Iyengar. My first career was as a midwife. Then back problems encouraged me to return to Iyengar yoga. With regular classes my back improved and this inspired me to train as a teacher. After the required 3 years supervised practice with an approved Iyengar Teacher, I was accepted on the 2 year teacher training course, qualifying in 2007 and have been teaching ever since in both England and France. I visit the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India on a regular basis to deepen my practice with the Iyengar family and other experienced teachers trained by them. Yoga not only keeps me healthy but sustains and nourishes me. My mission is to help and inspire others to enjoy the many benefits that yoga brings.

Zen yoga originates from the Zen Buddhist tradition and the physical energetic exercises practiced in some Zen temples. Zen yoga focus the attention on the physical alignment, flow of energy and mindfulness of the body and the body sensation in a non judgemental way. By bringing awareness to the areas of tension in the body with kindness, we allow the release of that tension to happen. Be ready for an hour of movement mediation while still challenging you physically. You will leave feeling relaxed and energised at the same time. With continued regular practise, positive changes in the body and mind can be achieved.
